LYSON INKSET INFO

The Lyson PhotoChrome inkset is pigment-based and provides superb colour performance with excellent black and white appearance. There are eight FREE Generic ICC profiles available as well as one FREE custom profile for the Marrutt paper of your choice. As well as this superb colour accuracy, this inkset has a certified 75 year longevity with excellent image stability and durability. Available in 250ml, 500ml & 1 litre bottle sizes.

MARRUTT REFILLABLE CARTRIDGES INFO

The Marrutt Refillable Cartridges are 220ml in capacity, carry a 1 year warranty and provide extremely reliable ink flow. The cartridges are see-through to allow easy recognition of low ink levels. The cartridges come complete with refilling syringes and full illustrated installation instructions. See bottom of this page for the basic four-step install/filling guide.

CAN BE USED ALONGSIDE OEM INK CARTRIDGES

The refillable cartridges filled with the Lyson PhotoChrome ink can be installed one at a time alongside the OEM cartridges with minimal change to the colour range. For users with colour profiling equipment and the more critical photographer, the Lyson cartridges can be installed alongside OEM cartridges with short-term profiles created as each cartridge is introduced to maintain optimum print quality. No cleaning cartridges are required prior to change over..

CARTRIDGE INSTALLATION / RE-FILL IS QUICK AND SIMPLE...

STEP 1: Take out cartridge plug and fill the cartridge with the correct colour ink up to the max line using the funnel provided.
STEP 2: Use the syringe provided to pull out 4ml of ink from the outlet of the cartridge ensuring a strong the flow of ink. (This process is only required after the first fill.)
STEP 3: Re-insert the refill plug and insert the cartridge into the printer. Then repeat this process for each cartridge.
STEP 4: During printing, when the ink level reaches the low ink mark on a cartridge, simply take out the cartridge from the printer fill with ink using the funnel. Then re-insert the  cartridge.
As explained, the refillable cartridges can be introduced alongside the OEM cartridges one at a time. Once all cartridges are converted over to the Marrutt/Lyson refillable cartridges, the ink counter elimination procedure (explained in the instructions) needs to be carried out. After this point, users keep a physical check on ink levels.

The Lyson ICC Generic profiles are located via the "Free Lyson ICC Profiles" tab below. A free custom profile is supplied with your first purchase of inks, each replacement set thereafter and selected Marrutt Inkjet papers.
