The Marrutt Traditional Baryta Hi-White Semi Gloss Paper has a brilliant white base and glossy textured finish reminiscent of traditional darkroom fibre-based papers. 100% alpha cellulose paper base. This Baryta paper has been introduced in response to the recent trend for inkjet papers to closely mimic the appearance of traditional darkroom papers.

Manufactured from 100% alpha-cellulose and triple-coated using the fourdrinier process, this paper combines the vibrant colour reproduction of modern gloss papers with the traditional feel of a fine art base.
The effect closely replicates the look and feel of a traditional fibre-based dark room paper. The finish is a neutral bright white which ensures that the maximum tonal range can be achieved. Blacks are deep and dark; good results can even be achieved with photo black inks but the use of matt blacks are recommend for the most stunning dMax and contrast levels. The colour gamut achievable with the Marrutt Gloss Fine Art paper rivals that from standard instant-dry photo gloss and satin papers, bringing the deepest reds, greens and blues onto this paper type for the first time. Compatible with Dye and Pigment inks.
